Emily Flathers is a teacher, performer, and songwriter

raised in a Minnesota home full of hymns and classical music.

After terrorizing Iowa's Luther College with piano and violin,

she came out to Arizona State for grad school and never left!

She calls her eclectic style "Flatherspatter."

Now a state-certified music educator, Ms. Flathers has passed through

Levels I and II of both Orff and Kodály music methodology training

She has composed scores for local theater productions,

accompanied live interactive theater around Phoenix,

and played for Valley improvisational groups  A.M.U.S.E.,
