Lord, where do I start? I feel so torn apart
There are choices I must make, no easy path to take
This earthly life I lead has brought me once more to my knees
I'm asking You to show me where Your plan would have me go
You are the Way, the One and Only Way
The never-ending day, a lamp to guide me
And I have heard You say that if Your people pray
You will give us grace and mercy overflowing

I don't know what to think. I'm standing on the brink
The wisdom sent from You - will it show me what to do?
Can I look upon Your Word as a filter for this world
To measure what is right and hold it to Your holy light?
You are the Truth, the One and Only Truth
The Author of all Truth, there is no other
Lord, You are the Truth, and the keeper of the Truth
You're the solid bedrock to uphold me

The price of sin is death: we die with every breath
Our time upon this earth is just a moment - dust to dust
There's nothing about me that could win a victory
But the one thing I can claim is the power of Your Name
You are the Life, the One and Only Life
The everlasting Life which now indwells me
You have conquered death, conquered sin and the grave
You came to heal and save, You came to love me
You took the battle from my hands and You fought for me
