Piano Method
In tesing at this time is a piano/keyboard method for upper elementary and middle school students. First comes recognition of keyboard layout, five-finger positions in the right hand, and left hand chording. I place emphasis on ear training and playing songs by ear.
Notation of all songs is in the back of the book, but we use solfa to teach our ear the melody (we sing every song before playing) and then the ear guides the hand.
